Southern Arc Provides a Further Update on the Revision of the Provincial Regulation (Perda)

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Tambangnews.com.- Southern Arc Minerals Inc. announces the following update to its previous news release dated December 1, 2009 pertaining to the revision of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Spatial Planning Regulation ("Perda").

John Proust, President and CEO Southern Arc Minerals Inc says The National Spatial Planning Body ("NSPB") had previously scheduled to internally endorse the new regulations in a formal ceremony on December 10, 2009. The matter has, instead, been referred directly to the Minister of Public Works, who oversees the NSPB, for his signature.

Once signed by the Minister, the revised Perda will be presented to the Provincial Legislative Body in Mataram for final approval and enactment into law. The company will provide a further update when the Minister has signed the revised Perda and a date has been set for the legislative vote.(*)
